About Our Lab
An enthusiastic group of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, undergraduates, and technologists work together in our lab to addresses a variety of issues relating to tropical disease, from the genetics and cell biology of parasites to host immunity and disease. We invite you to explore our web site and to read the research papers and theses of Engman lab members.
Our laboratory is engaged in three different lines of investigation: organelle biogenesis in trypanosomes, pathogenesis and treatment of inflammatory heart disease, and diagnosis of human genetic and infectious diseases. For more information regarding research in the Engman Lab, please see our "About Our Research" page.
